It is benefit & demerits (my opinion)
The industrial revolution lead to the development of factories for large-scale production, with consequent change in society. The machanized assembly line is the new fashion and introduction to workers. Later automation was increasingly used to replace human. This process has accelerated with the development of the computer and robot.
In my opinion, industrial revolution is good because now a days a lot of factories use computers or robots. They help to increase in efficiency, lower cost of the process and easy to check quality control. Your business can grow up very fast and prepare to become to the large-scale production. However, you must pay a lot of money if you want to use it and become to the large-scale production. Therefore, many factories want to use it because you pay a lot of money to buy it after that you can use it for a long time. Whereas, when you hire a lot of employees, you must pay their salary every month. Instead of paying their salary every month. It is cheaper to buy new machine, but for a long time it is more expensive.
For demerits, I think it is not good for human because when a lot of factories are leading the machine, a lot of employees are unemployed and then quality of people decreses.
